Cappadocia is a photographers wonderland! It is by far one of the most beautiful places in Turkey, and the world, with fairytale like cave hotels, beautiful natural views and colourful hot air balloons scattered over the sky every morning. Here are the best Cappadocia instagram photo spots – some of these also feature on my list of the best places to visit in Cappadocia!
1. Sunset Point
This is such a beautiful spot! The best time to arrive is around an hour before sunset when the sun starts to disappear behind the horizon and the rocky landscape all turns a beautiful shade of orange!
2. Hot Air Balloon
This is obviously one of the best ways to see the landscape! Hot air balloon rides always take place in the morning along with the sunrise!
3. Local Cave House
This is a very popular photo spot due to the beautiful fairytale nature of their pool! It was the second hotel was stayed in and a beautiful place to swim and photograph!
4. Sultan Cave Suites
Sultan Cave Suites is an amazing hotel with beautiful alleyways and corners no matter where you turn. It is a great place to photograph the cave hotel and it makes for great instagram shots that capture the essence of Cappadocia!
5. Göreme Open Air Museum
This is a great place to capture the history of Cappadocia, as well as some beautiful shapes carved into the landscape and the rocks here!
6. The Coffee Shop at The Bus Station
This bus turned coffee shop is a super colourful, funky spot that makes for a great photo location! It is not so much seen on Instagram so makes for a more unique shot of Cappadocia!
